This is a small author website. Here is plainly what it collects and why.
The newsletter
If you sign up for my newsletter, you give me your email address (and your first name, if you choose to). The signup form is provided by Kit (kit.com), the email service I use, and Kit stores your details and sends the emails on my behalf. Kit's own privacy policy is at kit.com/privacy.
- You'll get a confirmation email first. You aren't added until you click to confirm.
- I use your address only to send my newsletter: the free story, book news, release dates and cover reveals. I don't sell it or share it with anyone else.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave anytime. You can also email me and ask me to remove your details.
The form is loaded from Kit's servers, so Kit may use its own cookies or similar technology to make the form work. This site itself doesn't set cookies.
Free story download
The free story is a plain file download (EPUB and PDF). Downloading it doesn't ask for any information.
Hosting
This site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare processes basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site. Cloudflare may also set a small security cookie to protect the site from bots. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Analytics
This site doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts of its own.
